MOON FESTIVAL COLLECTION

Pierre Hermé Paris unveils a collection of Mooncakes, designed for the art of gift-giving and as a gesture of generosity. Dressed in autumnal hues accented with gold, the coffrets celebrate sharing, inviting you to prolong the magic of these reunions, like precious moments.

At its heart are four creations, original interpretations of the traditional moon cake, inspired by the Maison's boldness and creativity: Ispahan, the Maison's signature flavour, Infiniment Sésame Noir with toasted notes, Infiniment Citron Vert with a tangy flavour, and Sensation with crunchy almond praline.

ABOUT MOON FESTIVAL

The Mid-Autumn Festival, or Moon Festival, is one of the most important events in the Asian calendar. It celebrates harmony, reunion and generosity. On the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, when the moon is at its fullest, families and friends gather to share special moments.

Rooted in ancient traditions, this festival honours harvests, the transmission and celestial legends, such as that of the moon goddess and the Jade Rabbit, symbols of purity and longevity. These symbols are illustrated on our Mooncake coffret, where the moon and the rabbit echo each other in homage to the poetry of this celebration.
