CHRISTMAS

Born out of a dialogue with the artist Dimitri Rybaltchenko, ‘Invisible’ pays tribute to the behind-the-scenes work carried out by acrobats, tightrope walkers and jugglers – among other archetypes of risk, balance, juggling and suspension. These figures adorn gift boxes, logs, chocolate bars, chocolates and Advent calendars with their elegant silhouettes and iconic props. Here, suspension ropes; there, a unicycle; further on, a hoop, a balance ball, skittles and juggling balls… All these depictions are conceived as mysterious shadows captured by follow-spotlights.
